User-created campaigns, characters, maps, notes, and uploaded material remain the property of their respective owners. Users are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and use their content.

Current Content Status

  • SRD 5.1: Used under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
  • SRD 3.5: A separately licensed OGL 1.0a ruleset is being prepared and audited. A database entry is not considered verified SRD 3.5 content until its source is recorded.
  • Other editions and third-party works: Not designated as licensed rules content unless expressly listed on this page or in the content-source manifest.
  • Audit status: The record-by-record content and image provenance review is in progress.

System Reference Document 5.1

This work includes material taken from the System Reference Document 5.1 ("SRD 5.1") by Wizards of the Coast LLC and available at Wizards' System Reference Document page. The SRD 5.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

Modifications and application-specific organization are not endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

System Reference Document 3.5

The planned SRD 3.5 content pack uses only material verified as Open Game Content under the Open Game License Version 1.0a. It is maintained separately from SRD 5.1 content.

Open Game Content Designation

Only rules material expressly marked with the source System Reference Document 3.5 and license OGL-1.0a in the application's content-source manifest is designated Open Game Content. Application code, branding, interface elements, original artwork, original explanatory text, and user content are not Open Game Content unless expressly identified otherwise.
